At home, my wife and I had been using paper based sticker rewards charts that we printed out and would fill with fun stickers. The kids (aged 3 and 6) love the concept and it works really well. The big plus for this style of system vs something that has very rigid guidelines and rules for the rewards, is that it gives you total freedom in terms of the jobs for which you give rewards, and the rewards themselves. You can choose to designate a chart to a task and put childrens names on each row, name a whole chart after a child and name the rows for chores for that child or something completely different - the choice is yours!

We went looking for such a system on the iPad but couldnt find one. Everything we found locked us into predetermined task regimes with "pick from a list" rewards. We needed something that a 3 year old could open, use and put back, all by themselves if necessary.

With that in mind, we created Cheerful Charts!
Cheerful Charts is a fun, easy to use rewards system, designed for young children to be able to access. We have found that 5 tasks is a good compromise for young children, as it maintains their interest long enough to deserve a reward, but isnt so many that they lose interest. If you have older children you can simply choose to have them tap through 2, 3 or even 4 rows of tasks before they get their reward. Entering a space as the label will make a blank label if thats what youd prefer.

Now with Fun Mode, featuring all of the characters from the app in one place, so the little ones can just have fun tapping away on cool pictures with realistic sounds!!

Our kids love it and Im sure yours will too!
